The Edlian Piano Trio is an ensemble composed of violonist Charlotte Edwards, cellist Ann Lines and Tatiana Andrinova at the piano. They specialise in Russian music and have revived the exceptional piano trio repertoire of Anton Rubinstein.
Regularly performing in London and for music societies throughout the country, the Edlian Piano Trio has gained outstanding reputation for its enlightened performances of unusual works as well as the better-known repertoire. They tour internationally and perform at festivals all around the world: Moscow, Edinburgh, Brighton and Amsterdam. |
"Three elegant and sparkly ladies [...] They favour the civilised sound of chamber music which they perform with great refinement and expertise. A lesson in finesse and poise, full of virtuosic touches. Through dramatic key changes, mood swings and wild crescendos all three players remained utterly composed."
(Three Weeks Magazine: Edinburgh Festival 2005)
"Their playing is certainly most accomplished [...] lovely sensitive playing, subtly underlining the Russian melancholy of these elegant pieces.”
