Manuel Blasco de Nebra was one of the most talented musicians of 18th century Spain. Born in Seville to a family of musicians he was groomed by his father for the his own post of organist at the Cathedral before pre-deceasing his father. His compositions for keyboard have since his lifetime been overshadowed by the reputation of Domenico Scarlatti, who died when Blasco de Nebra was 7. The music was recognised as very high evince an original and quirky voice
